The Schools Alpine Comp is an annual snow sports competition for primary school students (year 3 – 8). The inaugural year was 2023, and it ran at Coronet Peak, Queenstown from Monday 11th September to Friday 15th September. With it being 2026, we’re not into our fourth year of supporting the competition.

The Every Day Digital team collaborated with the event organisers, designing and developing their website, while also handling registration forms, contact details, social media setup and management. The team even went down to Queenstown and helped out with the event management for the week! Every Day Digital coordinated an online raffle, managed web content and results during the week also.

SAC23 was a massive success, with over 120 students from around the North Island of NZ competing across a week. Next year, the goal is to raise the entrants to 400 and include teams from the South Island and Australia also. The team is hugely looking forward to the next edition of the event and planning is already underway!
